Bear in mind, covers and all

Who would appreciate a little more sleep?

Most people can use some extra sleep more than just the weekends, right?

How empowering is it to sleep for 30-40 minutes more each day, even when you think you don't

have time? Maybe you are so stirred up with "stuff" you cannot settle yourself.

What about a small power nap?

Sleeping helps heal the body, did you know that? Proverbs 3:24 says "when you lie down, you will

not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."

The bible also tells us in Proverbs 20:13 "do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake, and

you will have food to spare."

You have two ways sleep can help or not help.

If you sleep a nice amount (what's a nice amount for you, 7 or 8 hours?), you are well rested, can

think quickly and efficiently, areas in your body which need healing are in that process. You have

 more strength and are productive.

After having dealt with any domestic abuse issues, the last thing you want is hardly any sleep.

Unfortunately, with domestic abuse situations, finding a spot to sleep may be harder than actually

enjoying some shut eye. However, I know your goal is to get more sleep and feel more at ease about

how your situation will work out.

Another perspective, if you sleep too much, then your bank account is scarce. More than that, it leads

to other issues if you are sleeping more than your recommended amount (which is what?) Probably

need to check your height and weight for your actual recommended amount of sleep:

Sleeping is a good time to allow the Lord to come in and do some of his fancy work. He talks

when your asleep. You know all those freaky dreams you think you've been having, maybe He is

trying to tell you something.

Write your dreams down on a note pad and pray about them. Ask the Lord what He is saying to you-

open your heart and mind to what He has to say. I am excited as you take this new adventure in

hearing from the Lord in your sleep. Then, you can apply that to your daily life and start to see a

difference. It may not be immediate but keep your eyes and ears open for change, opportunity, a new

focus, refreshment, and more. Good things are coming your way.
