When your salt is your story




Talking to someone about your story is life-giving as you share your testimony.

No matter what it sounds like; rough edges, action, hideouts, and more, your salt is your story.


When you speak your truths about the trauma you endured, it evokes an emotion inside you that

makes you well up like the Mississippi River. It's a natural response when the flood gates open from

your precious eyes and you share your most personal moments.

Some have stories of highway chases, weaponry in the woods (or many times in the home), smashed

walls and gutted clothes. While the above mentioned are horrific testimonies unfortunately

sometimes,  they are real.


 However, the stories you share with others resonate to their core and are liberating them with your

proofs.

Each person has their own unique testimony to share, whether its blood and guts or a lot less drama.

Testimonies are healing and restoring in that they bring encouragement and inspiration to others.

Offering yourself and sharing your personal story is what Women Empowerment Solutions is

creating now. We are excited to call forth a group of women (or groups) who have been affected by

domestic violence and would like to share their stories to help with their healing and others.

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there. She also worked in radio in Tulsa and television in Columbus, Georgia. Her professional writing website is: www.eileenseefluth.com.
