Friends from the clubhouse rock dreams off one by one
From Shondel's experience to Dona's nightmares, the two learned more than coping skills; they dressed to thrive.
Shondel went through rehab after her former abusive spouse burned a few of her possessions; home and car. Gratefully, she escaped alive, because of some survivors, unfortunately, do not.
Donna had nightmares of her stalker beating the window down, not one or twice, but a dozen times at the same apartment complex.
Each time, the complex would comply with the maintenance word order, keeping Donna safe, warm, and free from outside intrusions. The management team even hired extra security to keep tenants more at ease.
Shondel and Donna met at the apartment clubhouse when they were both looking at brochures for community resources.
As they began to talk, interests grew, then they met a few more times.
The passion from thriving from domestic abuse obstacles only gave them more of a drive.
Shondel said, "when I go to my church, they encourage me." Donna started attending service with Shondel, and soon afterward, the bible studies became regular studies in their days. The friendship prospered, ultimately, they decided to become roommates in a new location.
With counseling, support groups, prayer, both ladies working full-time jobs, they are thriving in their atmosphere, learning they are great and mighty daughters of the most- high king.
Remember, you are just passing through the aches and pains, not staying there.
