At first glance, one sees a plethora of dried fields, tumbleweeds, and oil rigs. Though the area is well peppered with hotels, and restaurants between Abilene and Del Rio, businessmen and women, family and friends reach in for the West Texas tease.

Stocking pantries, refrigerators, and freezers, and preparing for the next day's responsibilities are for everyone.

If products and services are not enough, one will find the weather, real estate value, Texas tourism and business all scorching hot.

On an average summer day, the heat soars to one hundred ten. Sweat oozes from the brows of babes and trickles down cheeks of working men and women.

The community boasts of opportunity. Centered with parks, schools, shopping malls and cinemas, skating rinks, and a variety of other family-friendly locations. West Texas, specifically, Odessa, sports skateboard ramps resembling enlarged, squashed aluminum cans curved from the pavement in well-lit areas.

Rather than using mobile devices, an impressive number of teenage boys practice their craft jumping, spinning, and zig-zagging off ramps into mid-air showing off their skills. The you range from about 12 to 16 years of age. Each pumped with passion and desire to make the next "trick" effortless and more intriguing than the next.
