Discussions you should know
Discussions circulate and percolate and sometimes dominate
and instigate
But wait, set talk straight and delegate and finally celebrate
and conjugate
Create a state not a date or another mate and nothing is
ever too late
Judgment unfold
Someone has been told
It’s hard on her seeking shelter in the cold
Dealing with feelings like onion peelings
Shredding blame, guilt, shame, grief, oh the disbelief needing
Holy Spirit relief
He comes when we ask, for Him, resolving is no task
He is in the midst never gives you the cold should didst
No slaps, scolds, finger pointing “told you so’s”
For some, takes time for restoration from domestic violence
Oh, the silence
Wondering what to do, what to say, feels like such a delay
It’s going to be OK
Day by day the sun-ray
Night by night life is right
Week by week you start to peak
Month by month a winning streak
Year by year promotions and career
A decade and you are not in a rear
You learn to steer and have no fear
For others, resilience with brilliance and diligence
Focus with different shades pictures of Kinkade’s
Lovely and right, truth and in site, God does not bite
He will hold you tight with all His might
We finish with a quote which will give you hope
Not dope from meds or cute pink Keds or he and she saids
“Finally, brothers
and sisters, what is true, what is noble,
What is right,
whatever is pure, what is lovely, what is admirable-if anything is excellent or
praiseworthy-think
about such things.” (Philippians 4:8)
I encourage you today with kind words and scripture. May you
be filled with peace
And enjoy the almighty release, tell domestic violence to “cease”
in the name of Jesus, Amen.
