Three or more ways to take a bath from domestic violence

Alleviating various stresses after leaving a domestic violence relationship is exhausting, so it's

important to take a bath.

While taking a bath is essential in everyday life as we all know, what about thinking outside the box.

You are thinking about your children, possibly court appearances, wondering if the protective order

(P0) is going to serve you well or, if the perpetrator has been served and will abide by the rules.

All these thoughts and more going through your mind encompass a plethora of areas to manage,

strategize, cope, push forward with and focus.

What's next?

Bath

A nice bubble bath with candles all around is relaxing, and sometimes you find this first relaxer at

luxury hotels (who is buying, right?) and within your own homestead. What happens when this

remedy is not enough for all you are going through?

You have soaked with bubbles with the jacuzzi for thirty minutes, and still, your pain aid isn't the

secret sauce behind all your challenges.

Scripture

I would suggest bathing in the Word of God. To help with anxiety, turn to Isaiah 41:10, "so do not

fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I

will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Wow, this is a powerful verse, which, will never let

you down (no scripture will let you down).

If you are worried about uncertainty, what's going to happen with you or your children, meditate on

this scripture.

Remember, an action is a crucial area to manifesting what you are seeking. The action moves

situations- movement is required.

I recall a time, having my taxes prepared in previous years while on my own (as most are doing now,

tax prep), I couldn't keep up with one specific document. I called the attorney's office numerous

times asking for a copy of the record- I knew I could get one there. Apparently, that was a bit much,

but I was distraught from manipulation, intimidation, uncertainty, therefore, so didn't do very well

staying organized. Stomping those devils (situations) out, again, take a bath.

We've discussed a bubble bath with a good soak, scripture from Isaiah, and here is another, but from

Peter 5:7 NIV "cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Oils

Another empowering strategy comes from oils. And, a mix of all three: bath, scripture, and oils

make a great combination of conquering the ills of domestic violence aches and pains.

Some oils worth mentioning to help you are (this is a short list)-

Wild Orange- helps with insomnia and stress, anxiety and nervousness, detox, emotional balance to

name a few.

Sandalwood- Helps with Calming and relaxing, spasms and cramps, insomnia and restlessness,

wound care and infections to name a few.

Rosemary-Helps with memory, mental, adrenal & chronic fatigue, nervousness & depression, tired &

stiff muscles, fainting, cellulite, and emotional balance to name a few.

There are obviously many more, and you can look these up online through any essential oils

company. I received this info from The Essential Life book through various pages.
