Serena find among the flowers

Serena grew to love wildflowers. She was one of those kids that picked everyone's flowers growing up as a child.

She drew pictures of flowers in art class and chose flower pictures for bedroom walls, even as a teen. Her passion for flowers didn't stop in the classroom, her walls, or people's yards, but expanded to a flower shop, where she got her first job.

There, she met Stephen, but didn't get close with him, someone else did. Though she thought he was so good-looking, and he was in the flower shop quite often, she noticed he ordered flowers for different people every two weeks.

Not that he was a player or anything, he was more of a gift-giver. He'd send flowers to his neighbors, mother, aunt, co-worker, and grocery store worker to lift their spirits and send them joy.

Serena had the right eye for character and wasn't the type to jump into a relationship. One day, Stephen brought his old school friend in the flower shop & that was the day Serena's sister came to visit.

Those two hit it off well, but Serena was going to make sure her sister wasn't hurt again. After all, her sister Penelope has experienced abuse before from a guy she dated for seven months. Luckily, she got out of that relationship quickly after she got to know him, then she didn't want to know him at all.
Some friends scanned Stephen's friend & watched over Penelope to make sure all was good. While they were watchful, they didn't want to be 'overbearing.'
