Driving through heavy rain or snow- storm you and your vehicle must be tough.

Trying through to see through the windshield is no easy task with the downpour, is it?

You have just left a domestically, violent relationship. Lucky for you, you had an extra
Set of car keys while he was sleeping, so you slipped out the back door.

This is a real scene for various women in different age ranges, but not for all.

 Emotions become thick as the summer humidity in Oklahoma, and you try your best to find an "out."

Whether it's the back door, window, garage, or any other door, I'm glad you have found your way to safety.

Nancy Reagan once said, "A woman is like a tea bag; you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.

I think that quote is on target for many ladies, and not only in Oklahoma but around the world.

Women, you are healthy and full of spunk. For those with not as much courage, you will get there. The next level is waiting for you-

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there.
