Marshmallows, Marcel, or Marvin

Marcel went to the grocery store for dish soap. She must have had a good time because she came out with six bags of groceries-she needed self-control.

At least she had the money for the groceries, but she had a few areas to work, and most people do.
She was wondering how she would walk through the door with going over budget by eight dollars.
What would Marvin say?

He was great with finances, his profession as an accountant by twelve years. He had a hot temper, though.

Once Marcel went shopping for new underclothing, she didn't find her sizes or colors she likes.

Instead, she purchased three new pairs of shoes.  Her focus was a bit in another area of the store.
Here she was, working on self-control, focus, and trying not to spend too much; staying in the budget and on task. There was another monster for her to deal with thought, an abusive guy she wasn't quite married to, yet.

Marcel needed to make some changes, but she didn't know how.

Both Marcel and Marvin went to a lovely church occasionally, a block from their home which, services about one hundred fifty people.

On Sunday, they returned home and honestly discussed the service, identifying their differences, and questioned how to work through them.

They discussed how power-packed the services were, and that's why they were still talking about church long after they arrived home each weekend.

Jaron, Marcel's sister, would attend church with them as she temporarily lives close by and wanted to spend time with Marcel, also make sure she was OK- she knew how Marvin could sometimes get and with such attitude.

Jaron was watching out for Marcel's safety through the summer, as Jaron was starting a new job in the fall.

The couple knew she would be a few states away once autumn arrived.

Jaron was wise in what she knew and witnessed. She was one to correct and direct, carefully, intuitively, and firmly.

She had connections and knew Marcel might need them sooner or later, especially with her shopping extravaganzas which, weren't focused with a hot-tempered boyfriend.

So, what's next? What will Marcel do? She can join Women Empowerment Solutions Group, which discusses how to overcomes issues many women face regarding various abuse issues, encouraging one another and hearing a plethora of input with solutions that work and are proven.

When you talk to others that you can trust and learn more about inviting Jesus in the midst, the old crumbles, and you will see a difference. Say goodbye to strongholds.
