Let's Talk About Identity

By now, your a vibrant woman. Does not matter where you grew up, where are you now?

You or quite possibly, someone that you've known or perhaps, just met, may have been tossed around like one of those pretty green salads you find on a scrumptious salad bar at a wonderful restaurant.

What do you do? Who do you know? How are you feeling? When you look in the mirror, who do you see? Do you see a beautiful woman thriving with all kinds of possibilities or do you see bruises from all the hurts?

Who you are matters and if you will take time to read Ephesians 2:10, it says "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

After reading and knowing this scripture, one should be able to just look into the mirror and know that He made us, so our identity is in Christ our Saviour, that is the bottom line.

Too many times, not just across the nation, but around the world too, women from various generations have had their identity shattered from abuse, and just think, about 70% (Finck) goes unreported.

Your name is not guilt. You didn't do anything. Some say, "oh, she dressed a certain way or she said bla bla bla/"

There's obviously much more that goes into that, but know your name is not guilt. Your identity in Christ is beautiful. He knew what He was doing when He made you. He has a great plan for you.

So, next time you look in the mirror, love yourself, you so deserve it. With or without makeup, you are a beauty. Be Empowered to know that there are Solutions and they are all around, but it begins with you my love.
