Her Name Is......

It was the night after a thunderstorm and some shuffling around and her house.

She finally gained enough confidence to make her move, it was a few states away from where she did reside.

She didn't know what she was going to do for work or much less anything else, she just went on a whim because she knew she deserved better.

When she got to the new city and state, they asked her for ID and she looked all throughout her purse and belongings, she couldn't quite find it at the moment as she had quite a bit she was thinking about.

She did remember when she made her move, she had all her documents and certifications that had her name on it, things that conveyed her life story and all her achievements, whatever they may have been.

As she was thumbing through her purse still looking for her ID, they said, "why don't you take a seat and if we may, can we get you some water, tea, or coffee?" She politely replied, "yes, please, that would be nice."

Someone brought her a drink cold bottled water and said, "what is your name dear?"

It took her a couple of minutes as she was kind of day dreaming, sort of. She knew her name wasn't any of what the perpetrator had been calling her, it was much better.

"Ahhh, yes...someone close by saw a monogrammed pocket book that was so neatly designed with 'Debbie' on it." 'Thank you, Callie, I appreciate you spotting that."
