Sara is a silly and comical chick. She likes to make light of most situations but does not always succeed.

She laughs at stuff some people would not find so funny.

Saturday, she was in the grocery store in the produce section and decided she was going to stack all the

cabbage in a basket to play a joke on the crew because let's face it, cabbage usually is not a hot

commodity like Oreo cookies. This was her silly and comical sense of humor, but she had plenty more

ideas she pulled off successfully, just not that one!

The manager of the store confronts her about the cabbage. She respectfully answered, "I wanted

have some fun, besides, how much cabbage do you truly sell?"

The guy was obviously puzzled while he scratched through his beard and raised his eyebrows. "I see, I

 think."

Then, with a loud burst, she says, "I will put them all back when your store contributes to empowering

women against domestic abuse in the community" His reply, "are you serious?"

They went to the back management office to discuss the possibilities (he could have gone the opposite

direction, but he had an open heart and mind, Philippians 4:4-6 talks about this).

They went from a serious discussion about cabbage to women overcoming domestic abuse in the

community, another serious discussion which lasted more than an hour with  more staff getting

 involved.

The umbrella of hope was wide open. The strategies on like light switches throughout a home

because the last one to bed forgot to turn them off. Teamwork piling up like laundry. Dreams exploding

like Independence Day, and plans were drawn out on the dry erase board. Everyone brought their

 talents together.

Wow, then they were at the computer and making necessary communication, signs, and truly going for

 making a significant difference.

Yes, the impromptu meeting time seeped well over more than 60 minutes, but they were able to

accomplish phones calls, make new connections by computer and phone, then make signage bringing

awareness for the outreach. Additionally, all the gifts brought to the table "shifted" the atmosphere to

bring change for the good with all who were interested, connected in story and mind while piquing

their continued interest. It surely was flames of fire sparking everywhere with excitement.

From nowhere, they were all creating good and positive changes. Making an impact. Sure, it would

take time, but the important part, they were starting, which it all has to start somewhere.

The flaming fire rests on all of us today with motivation and drive.

So, what drives you today?

Probably not cabbage, although cabbage is good for you, it's not on most people's go-to list though

 (unless you like eggrolls...).

What excites you? I am sure you have a list of what excites you. If you cannot think of anything at

the moment, give it some thought, you will come up with ideas you had not thought of, putting

a smile on your face which will energize you the more you do it.

Have a great day everyone!
