Words of might and polite

As I, Eileen Seefluth, gave a presentation recently at the Women’s Living Expo in Tulsa, I shared how words matter. Please excuse the “non-formatting” at this impromptu moment. 

Empower with words of might

They may seem so out of sight 

But are not and give such delight

and should be at the height

with light and are bright.

Every day, say something kind,

Listen and unwind

You’d be surprised with what you find,

A beautiful mind.

You start your day,

Well on your way

You know what you want to say

Where you want to stay

What you should pray

And you are okay.

You have direction and protection.

You are equipped with tools and resources 

and have taken all the courses,

You see! You know!

The words you convey are different now.

You ask, “how?”

Healing. You’re heart is at peace;

warm and fuzzy like winter fleece 

the more you sneeze, the more release.

Healing. You are an overcomer; one day after another.

You are putting on confidence

something you have had to fight for

galore, now it’s time to hear your roar!

The lioness is in your gut

You are no longer in a rut

Or locked up like King Tut

And you are certainly not a mutt.

Watch for encouragement, 

 comes from various people,

not only from the steeple 

from hearts, communities, friends, and family, 

and so happily

with cheer for you my dear.
