Come on! See what’s Cooking in the Kitchen
The gym and parks are favorite places for workout locations- but when they are closed and limited by numbers of people, turn to your kitchen.
Tip one, Stove Top Burners
Yes! They provide ample workouts if you do not already have “weights” to work your muscles. You can work one or two at a time and still gain results. A few generous grips on non-heated burners a two or three times a day and you strengthen your biceps- they start looking like doorknobs!
Another proven solution, canned goods in your pantry.
Whether you have tinned fruit or beans, canned vegetables can be your workout. I know, that’s probably easy-peasy for you, so just clean out the entire pantry! Work your muscles and do the stretches- you find energy you never thought you had from your kitchen.
If these tips aren’t enough, turn some music on and dance to your favorite tunes while you make a delicious recipe in your blender, mixer (those are heavy!), or whatever you wish to work with.
Time is on your side! You can whip into shape, one appliance at a time.
Another type of workout, for your mind, that is, focusing on things that are like belt and righteous.
If you turn to the book of Philippians 4:8, there you will find great medication, wonderful workout for your mind to focus on what is lovely and precious to think on. The world is not wonderful to think about- it’s quite messy and filthy.
This book will pump you with hope, confidence & expectation for your future- it only gets better from here.
Remember, faith comes by the word of God- not by sight. So when you speak, speak life over any situation.
God dispels darkness, it has to leave!
Amen.
Hey hey... stepping up in the world.. posted from my phone!
