Safety Plan

We all know safety is primary in any situation, whether it be school, work, business, family, activities, traffic, safety is number one.

In the natural, a code word is the best! I've used code words to direct others or gain their attention in communication. Today, I ask that you put your "armor" as in Ephesians 6, starting with verse 11: "Putting on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." (KJV)

May sound like profound verbiage to you; however, these are words to speak before starting each day.

Verse 12 talks about how we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

 Well, thank God we don't! We are undoubtedly grateful for the armor and the power it has, so it's essential to put it on (even when there is no storm), especially to stay safe from domestic violence or any situation.

Ephesians 6:13 is specific directing people to take the armor of God that we can withstand in the evil day (like about right now), having done all to stand.

Verse 14 is firm, "Stand therefore, having your LOINS girt about with the truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness. Loins are part of the body on both sides of the spine between the lowest (false) ribs and the hipbones. Girt, as you know, is a sheeting rail, a horizontal structural member in a framed wall.

Wow! Super comforting to know when these words are spoken, you are protected.
The breastplate of righteousness is justice and covers your front side from any evil force.
Remember to shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace from verse 15- will a firm foot, no foe (evil) can withstand you! They can try; however, they will not succeed.

One of the most important, as the bible states in Ephesians 6:17, is to take the shield of faith, so you can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

I know in verbal disputes the enemy thrives on dirty words to hurt you. Thank goodness for the shield of faith to block all the arrows, they cannot touch you!

Don't forget to take the helmet of salvation and sword of the spirit.
The safety tools you can speak over yourself daily. I hope you find them strengthening and securing in your daily empowerment.
