We discussed moving the other day. There's definitely more to cover regarding moving.
Yes, it's a hassle.
Yes, it's a lot of work. Can you say, "muscles?!"
Yes, it is costly.
The pros, I think, out weight the cons, don't you?
For instance. Yes, you do move to a new environment and that's the beauty of it all.
You now have peace of mind. Peace of mind is far more valuable than anything I know of.
Here are some simple questions you should ask before you move into your next home whether you are buying, selling, or leasing (yes, they are all different) which will add to your peace of mind:
Buying: What is the history with this house? Know everything about the house you might purchase. Were there any "events" in the home you need to be aware of?
Selling: You may ask the realtor for some referrals.
How many houses they have sold?
What about how they plan to market your home.
How long has the realtor been practicing?
How do their fees work?
Find out who is in their network. It would be good to know how many contacts your realtor could connect you with be it a plumber, electrician, a crafty person, or even someone to change or fix up your flowerbeds, we know landscaping is a must and can be expensive. With the right person, you could have a beautiful flower wonderland.
Leasing: Read the fine print. Don't just sign. READ.

We pray Lord a washing throughout this home by the waterfall of your love. Wash away all evil from the carpet threads, walls, any hiding places, the windowpanes, and every room and remove it now in Jesus' mighty name.
Thank you, Lord, for cleaning it from top to bottom, every threshold, nook and cranny, and applying the blood of Christ to every doorpost and handle. We claim this property is yours Lord, and we thank you for it. Amen.
