Chloe by the Pool

Sitting by the pool, Chloe wondered, "what's next?"

She mowed over her thoughts for a couple of weeks on how to move forward from domestic violence.

July was her first time going to a public pool since she was about 17.

Since she married early for three years, that was a mistake because of the harm Chloe incurred.

Now, she is learning more about herself and how she feeds her spirit.

Chloe met new friends who brought her to church, somewhere that made her feel comfortable.

There, she learned where to get into a "quiet" spot for 15-30 minutes and focus on God.- through

worship music, the Bible, journaling with a flow, walking, or a unique area like a garden and

surrounded with other believers.

Feeding your spirit is vital in daily living, rising above circumstances, and looking forward to the

future.

The extra measure we take brings us more into God's fullness, and He blesses mightily with the action

taken.

Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running

over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."

Whatever you give plenty of, whether it is time, cheer, love, kindness, expertise, anything, it will be

given back.

In the story, Chloe gives her time, 15 minutes, spending with God each day. The prayer time she has

helps her realize what God has for her. Now Chloe is learning she can go to the pool and feel good

about her body in a swimsuit and is independent in herself, as a daughter of our Most High God, she

doesn't need permission for value or freedom.

Chloe, and you, can walk in the dignity of who you are as a person. Knowing your strengths and vigor

comes within, and it has always been there. Sometimes, you need to call it forth and declare strength,

endurance, vitality, freedom, value, boldness. Example: I say in Jesus' Mighty name, I am valuable.
