Your powerful force

From the book of Hope by June Hunt:

"Christian Hope is….

NOT dependent on another person or a group of people, but rather is dependent on the Lord alone
NOT wishful thinking, vague longing, or trying to fulfill a dream, but is assured unchangeable, and absolute
NOT determined by circumstances, events, or abilities, but rather is determined by what is already secure and promised
NOT merely a desire, but rather is delayed fulfillment of reality
NOT dependent on the stars, luck, chance, or timing, but rather is predestined and settled in the heart and mind of God."

Ephesians 1:11 "In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will."
We sing praises in the church that HOPE is alive, and Women Empowerment Solutions firmly believes that it is, no matter what life circumstance you may be facing.
Domestic violence is no comfortable situation to deal with, never has been. But, there are over-comers, and people need to know about these champions because they have a place in the world, as everyone does.

June Hunt's answer to why it so hard to have hope:

"Most people live by the saying: Seeing is believing. If hope is so good, we want to see it, touch it, hold it. This mindset is anything but new. After the Crucifixion, a certain apostle often called "Doubting Thomas" refused to have hope that Jesus had been seen alive. He declares to the other disciples, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it." I'm pretty sure you know the rest of the story…the Doubting Thomas got called out because the resurrected Jesus stunned him (John 20:25-20).
Looking at your future when leaving a domestically violent relationship, you could easily be in doubt about how your life is going to work out. How will you get away from the wicked perpetrator that cannot keep to his word, and the threats are a bit much.

You don't have to worry about anything with Jesus, He will see you through, as long as you believe in Him, have hope, and keeping thanking and worship our most high God.
