Transition highway with exit signs

The transition….Moving from a domestic violence household is refreshing, enlightening, and a change in atmosphere. Here are some things to keep in mind while you are on this highway that has exit signs everywhere.

Making the calls- Some people you know, and some you don't, but you know the calls need to be made, or nothing is completed. Making priorities and checklists with whom you need to speak with. Say a prayer before you make the calls as Holy Spirit will guide you through each request.

Making connections- What connections do you need to make? If you are moving into a new place, you call the utility company and the electric company (for starters). Find out how much your deposit is, which will require your social security number and the new address of your new home. Be prepared with your bank card and if you do not have one, prepare to pay for services another way.

The adjustments- It may take you a little while to get used to living in your new housing arrangements. You are in a whole new environment and making further steps into your future. You have this.

Thinking differently- I would suggest some good reads with Joyce Meyers books. She has a plethora of information that will put you into a different mode of operation; you'll be surprised with yourself!
A new world- When you make your transition, you'll have the freedom to do things that you are not used to. It is similar to moving into a new country, and you will soon learn to enjoy it. Many opportunities await you.

New thought process- The old is out, and the original is here. In what ways are you changing your way of thinking? Try writing and list and sticking to your new processes.

No matter what, God will see you through

Sometimes you make think it is EASIER to take the exit and go back where you came from; not a good idea. Keep on trucking.
