Increase tolls shave numbers



The building blocks and bridges to empower women from domestic violence are varied and more available today than any other time in history.

According to research provided by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (www.ncadv.org), approximately 21,000 calls are received on a typical day.

As an example of peace to citizens, The Constitution of the United States declares to establish justice, insure domestic tranquility and provide for common defense.

Perhaps the breakdown of 15 calls per minute is pursuant of the declaration's justices. Law enforcement policing society to bridge gaps, equip those in need, and use strategies to keep people safe.

Toll free numbers, shelters, counseling and solutions are some of the links that empower women from domestic violence.

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there.
