Ways to get well-rounded and see thriving results

The season is crossing over (yippy!). Soon, we will not see wilted plants, trees, or yellow grass, they are not too encouraging to see, but Jesus is!

For those of you who do not know, He is the king of heaven and earth, so, He is the boss. What He says, goes.

Many of you do know who He is, thank God! For those still trying to figure Him out, I encourage you to press into His Word (Scriptures). Read them out loud. He will guide you as you ask Him and seek Him and inquire of Him. It's like looking for someone you truly care about, because you do. You won't stop looking because He is very important to you.

Though He is not a person, He is a spirit, so it is imperative you worship Him in truth and in spirit. Doing this, knocks down walls and breaks chains, brings healing, and restoration- just keep it up. Get saltier, watered, send time with Him (the Lord). *Encouragement here*

Worship can be done with music at the church, can be done at your home, and you do not have to have music, you can sing aloud, sing Him a new song. You can thank Him for all He has done for you. I know I truly has so much I'm thankful for.

When you are overcoming domestic abuse, there are a lot of ideas and thoughts ruminating through your mind. While they may be true, much of may not be true causing fear- yuck! Nobody likes fear. It's the opposite of peace.

I will give you an example. This doesn't have anything to do with domestic abuse, but it does have to do with the dentist. Who likes going to the dentist? Ew.

Praying well before going to the dentist appointment helps me. Why would I be afraid of getting my teeth cleaned? For one, I am not fond of sitting in a chair that would have me in a weird position until bright lights like a science experiment, all while keeping my mouth open for a long time. Thankfully, I have a wonderful dental hygienist who does me very well. She is kind, patient, caring, and gentle on my teeth and gum, so it goes over much better. I do not like the squealy sounds of grinding, oh. my. gosh!!!

So, I must flip the narrative on this appointment that has not even happened, right?!

For you, you already know how your boyfriend or significant other or former spouse responds to certain behaviors, habits, actions, words, whatever, you know how he will act.

That is scary~! Walking on pins and needles is no fun wondering how the other person is going to respond to you for whatever reason. But stuff (whatever that stuff is) has been building up for a while. You have to take a look an examine moments in time. Words spoken, what ticked this person off and why? By this point, who cares, just move on, right? Because the other person is unruly and not cooperative, time to move on!

Follow the truth which is inside of you already. How does your body respond to what is happening around you or with whom you have been speaking with?

Scriptures I want to leave with you are:

" He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it]. II Timothy 2:25-26 AMP

"But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He who give you power to get wealth that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 8:18

"Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you." Deuteronomy 31: 6
