Part II: Ways to Destress

Calling all mama's and single chicks, 👉the way to destress from the junk:

1. First, find a comfy seat and soaking music. Park it here for at least one hour. This is not activity you will do after firing up a pot of macaroni and cheese.

If you fall asleep during this time, it's okay. You will want to consider soaking around 1 pm or 2 pm, not after you first wake up in the morning.

Soaking is a form of worship. Let your hair all hang out and rest. The Bible talks about rest in Exodus.

Rest is important. Apart from Jesus, we cannot get the rest we need.

Now, as you lie and rest "soaking," ask the Holy Spirit to come. If you receive any pictures or words

which come to mind, He is talking to you.

Feel the stress melt off you. I don't know how much stress you have been carrying, this is a helpful way

to let it go. Rest. Soak. Destress. You will be happily invigorated the more you do this activity.

2.Tithing. Do you know much about giving ten percent or more of your income? If you do not, you can

see and know, this is another form of worship and is giving to God the first bit of your income. Tithing

online is offered with most churches, by text, mailing it in, or simple offering your tithe in the platter or

bag at your local church. Tithing will, and does help you destress as you give God a portion of the

provision you have worked hard to make. The Bible doesn't say to tithe when you "feel" like it, it says

 to do it.

I know some of you might be in a tight financial position especially coming from domestic abuse. You

have stories you can tell, and you are ready to unlock and release what you have been holding onto for

so long. Let your mind soak up what Jesus has to say, so you can destress, then, become closer to him

 so you

will have some idea of how much you can tithe. Even if you start with a dollar or two, you are sowing

seed into your future by tithing. Just sit on it for a minute and think about how wonderful it would shift

your life. A little "faith" in the action does mighty works.

3. Praise the Lord even when life looks grim. I am sure you can think of a few items to be grateful for,

even if they may seem miniature. Praising breaks what the enemy means for harm. Praising will do a

lot for you, just keep at it. Blessings over your mind, body, and soul.

There you have it, a few simple ways to destress in addition to what you will find in the previous post.

Wishing you all well.
