Solid Resources you Can Count on

Wow. It's easy to get distracted, isn't it?

You have started your new life. You are in a new place. New home which needs furnishing, but where do you find all the supplies for every room?

When you left your old home, you left e v e r y t h i n g behind.....

You are courageous beyond anyone you will ever meet. Seriously.

Now, to use some of the courage you have tucked in your belt (yes, you have a belt) to make phone calls and connections are a start. Maybe only making the phone calls is your baby step for now.

If you have a phone, most people do, but not everyone. Make a list of people and organizations which stand out to you- write them down and make the calls, taking any notes with information, direction, and wisdom nuggets they share with you. For instance, they may not have what you need, but they know someone who does. Prepare to write those names and numbers down.

If you do not have a phone, see if you can use someone's phone, a friend, relative, coworker, someone. This is not an obstacle that's too hard move. Remember, Mark 11:23-24.

Resources:

  • I did find a location at 724 S. Utica if you are in the Tulsa area- A Family & Children Services Thrift Store from my understanding or associated with them. They charge a flat rate for clothing, and they have other offerings as well which might be of help to you.
  • Food Pantries if you are in the Owasso Area:
  • Owasso Community Resources 109 N. Birch 109 | 918-272-496. Required are ID & Proof of Residency.
  • St. Henry's Catholic Church in Owasso8500 N Owasso Expressway 918-272-3710

Check with area churches. Pull up their websites and look for Community Ministries or Outreach, see what is available.

Pregnant Women Resources....in Owasso...Pregnancy Resource Center | 8361-G N. Owasso Expwy | 918-272-6888 | Maternity infant to 2 years. Clothing, supplies, infant food (totally a win-win).

So many nonprofits are super busy right now, but keep working at it, resources are available somewhere. I & II Thessalonians are the Books of hope. When you need hope the most, dig your heels in right here and meditate- read the paragraphs out loud and believe what you are reading. Watch your situations change. May not be overnight, but poppa God does not disappoint.

Another resource to consider are the Catholic Charities- 918-585-8167, a remarkable source.

The Salvation Army is another wonderful resource....918-582-7201.

Indian Health Care Center 918-382-1224

Now....more resources, but a DIFFERENT KIND....

A. The Book of Ephesians particularly chapter 6, speak it out verses 10-24 KJV.

B. II Corinthians 10: 4-5 KJV Speak these words aloud. You will be GLAD.

C. Ephesians 3:20 KJV

D. Philippians 4:8 KJV

My suggestion is to look these up in your Bible. Speak each one out loud.

You get to read from any version you would like. I just gave you what I have handy. The Amplified is another version you may receive from, or even the Passion Translation. There are also more, enjoy the one which speaks best to you and make sure it's a "full verse."

Remember, Jesus is the only way, He is the top resource.

There's breakthrough in your struggle with Jesus.
