Oh, the lush luminous chocolates saturate your taste buds and fills you up with goodness. A sense of happiness, and in the moment, gladness.

Sure, helps decreases the stress in the moments of need while you are examining your checkbook, taking any of test, working on a project, or cleaning house.

What do you do when those few seconds are gone and the stress sticks to you like honey?

Physical Ways to Unload

Other physical ways to stamp out stress are:

  1. Clean your house- wash your windows, dust, wipe out your closet, change your sheets, vacuum, dishes and counter areas (does not sound fun, but it works and it is so good- changes your atmosphere for the better).
  2. Run or go for a walk.
  3. Dance
  4. Spend time in your garden (gardens in the bible- The Garden of Eden, The Garden of Gethsemane, Golgotha, The Heavenly Garden). I encourage you all to look up the meanings of each of these beautiful gardens.
  5. Sing
  6. Talk to a friend or friends.
  7. Write
  8. Read the Bible (actually, this is number one) / pray so you are NOT the prey.
  9. Ride your bike
  10. Embrace your baby/kiddo
  11. Whistle
  12. Go outside and "ground" - no socks or shoes, put your bare feet on the grass touching nature, and ahhhh, relief sets in. Stand there and keep sinking your feet in the ground thanking God for all he has done in your life.
  13. Get a massage.
Become creative with your options, you have it in you. Ask God to expand and renew your mindset, you will definitely see and feel a difference if you are consistent with your asking, faithful, and you believe in what you are asking for. "Ask, knock, seek," Matthew 7:7 NIV talks all about it.
