The glitz, color, and shine of this material reminded me not only of New Year's Eve, but also a beautiful sparkly dress I used to have about 25-30 years ago.

I bought the dress somewhere at Woodland Hills Mall. It was not on sale, I bought it anyway because it was gorgeous, my size, and I knew I would feel glamorous in it.

This particular material is a table runner.

But, as you are reading, just looking at the material there's memories for me.

Although the memories were not great, rather than pushing it back down, I said, "nope, that was a long time ago, and I have all new clothes now, and I speak God's Word over myself.

We all know though, when cleaning stuff out, you must dust, vacuum, the area first before using cleanser or freshener, otherwise, the area, will still be needing attention. This has to do with your car, home, mind, heart, phone (yes, it does need to be cleaned as well).

As we all move into 2026, I encourage you all to let go of whatever you have been holding onto that you won't need, and don't need for 2026. As you let go, you give room for the good stuff to "occupy."

As apostle Chuck Pierce says, "don't give the enemy any resources." Well, what does he mean by that?

When you latch onto the past with negative memories, that is a resource for the enemy, so, by all means, let those memories go shutting the doors to the enemy.

One way to do so, hold your hands up and out cupped together, and speak it out loud, "here you go Father, you can have all my bad memories, and in exchange, I receive your peace, healing, and restoration, and I thank you Father for taking all those bad memories from me." This is something to do often until you feel the peace (lighter).

Another way is a cleansing prayer. I would recommend you speaking a cleansing prayer over yourself several times a day. You will find cleansing prayers in my previous blog posts. You can also speak what comes natural to you as you are in prayer. The words will definitely come to you.

I also encourage you to spend some time in worship music, even if it is 15-30 minutes. The longer you do, the better results you will have, and you will notice very soon.

He can do whatever He wants, so it may be a quick healing for you, or it may take some time. It usually takes time. With your consistent prayer, you move the mountains and dazzle your way through each day, week, month, and conquer the year, the new year that is.

Wishing you all a very Happy and Blessed New Year 2026! Stay safe, enjoy yourself, be around those you love and trust.

Jeremiah 33:6, Psalm 107:20, Isaiah 60, Isaiah 43:19

Happy New Year!
