Christmas Cheer and New Beginnings Need You!

We have stepped into December with our thick jeans and decorative sweaters staying warm

celebrating what is ahead, Christmas and new beginnings!

First, we celebrate the birth of Christ which brings love, joy, hope, salvation, deliverance and so much

more as we embrace our daily load of benefits, He has freely given us (Psalm 103).

Unfortunately for some, Christmas is not a joyful time because of past wounds and hurts

or offenses. Getting past these areas takes work, lots of work, but it is not the task that you might

 think.

This participation involves heart-to-heart conversation/communion with the father, so that means

spending time in His presence, soaking and worship with Him so you can "allow" Him to work in you,

 cleaning your garden (heart).

This time also involves speaking words out and giving Him your hurts, repenting, and receiving from

Him what He has for you (which is a lot).

You don't want to carry stuff that someone said to you in 2000, that's 25 years of the wrong stuff. I think

it would be comparable to walking in an airport carrying someone else's luggage that doesn't belong

to you for a while, we say no to that in Jesus' name.

Once you have released the person you have been holding onto for so long

that hurt you in word(s) or actions(s), you can breathe! You can feel the weight lifted off and truly

celebrate the season of Christmas. An area of soaking here could be in Romans 8. Be transformed.

The next celebration is the new year. New year, new you, new mindset. It honestly takes a new mindset

to mow through and have the stark shift change you need. Thinking different takes a lot of effort on

your part, but you can do it by "choosing" to think differently.

This is as cleaning files out of the file box. Same with your email, it gets stuffed too...boy does it ever!

You can look in your closet as well and see if there are old clothes you need to give away or sell,

because you haven't worn them in a while, exchange out the old for the new. Remember, you wear

the clothes of righteousness, not of sad or doom and gloom, those are God's Words.

Maybe your clothing may have a significant meaning in time for you, perhaps this is why you do not

want to get rid of the clothing. It is all about choices and what you are focusing on.

So, as we all step into the New Year, we step into a new chapter, a new season. Remember, you are

the commander, not the order taker. You speak what happens. When you speak, your words are active

and alive. Your words have meaning and purpose.

So, recap. Praying you celebrate Christmas like you haven't in a while, it's going to be different this

time around. I encourage you to surround yourself with good people who encourage and edify

you and drawing your gifting to the forefront. Then, stepping into your New Year 2026, you are writing

 a new story about yourself.

How do you see yourself? Is it how God sees you and talks about you in His Word, or is it what

other people say or think? Should be what God says about you. Match your words with His and you

will see the results of your dreams.

Last, when you look in the mirror, see what is truly in the mirror. God's beautiful daughter. God's

beloved daughter. You hare intelligent, strong, courageous, victorious, and wonderful. If you are

reading these words and don't believe it, I encourage you to speak these words out loud until you do

believe it. For some, that may take a week, a month, a few months, but eventually you will believe

the truth, because it is the truth. I don't have to know you to know it is the truth, it's God's Word, which

 is the truth.

Give yourself a minute to adjust to the beautiful news of greatness. You are moving forward and are

going to be so excited for what God is directing you with and revealing to you. It's true. Believe and

you shall receive.
