Say the word clean and most people run as fast as they can!

Today we are talking about cleaning your mailbox whether e-mail

or your "mind/files" set you free (check out Romans 8, all about freedom) in ways you never thought

 possible!

The memory bank or junk mail inundates us daily, so much so, they are as pesky summer flies and we

 say, "no, shew, fly shew!!"

Your primary way to rid yourselves of the negative memories or junk mail, is a process which includes

your engagement, here's what that looks like.

We all know with e-mail, you sit and bear them, deleting one after another, not fun, but necessary,

keeping all nice and tidy as keeping your bank account. Keep an eye out for what does not

belong, boot it.

Next, the real way to de-clog your brain, is exercise and eating right. Exercise will fling junk off

you didn't know was attached to you from a week ago or even a month ago!

Next, sit or stand with worship music on. Yes, meditating and soaking in it, a great way to stimulate

your brain cells and cleanse you from impurities because the dust does settle on areas

like on your dresser unless you run a duster.

Honestly, decluttering your mind from certain memories is not as instant as we like it to be-but it can

be in God's presence because He can do whatever He wants when He wants.

It does take a specific heart posture when entering His gates and allowing Him to work, however long

that takes, but it's worth it when you take the time to give Him allowance of doing His good work.

Carrying any negative memories around for any amount of time is not good for your health, so you

want to make sure you give those over to the Lord and surrender those negative thoughts or emotions

to Him. In exchange, receive His peace, it will help you with your marathon.

The memories you have that you are trying to rid yourself of like last night's left-over dinner could

be a person, place, thing, a scent, music, you name it, use your imagination.

It's good to check your environment. See if there are pictures that used to bring you happiness but

no longer do that for you. Perhaps a garment you wore time and time again but there's

an attachment on the sweater or jeans that doesn't bring you peace and joy like it used to, these are items

you remove so you don't keep jogging up any sad memories and make sure you sever any ties

from people, places, or things which no longer bring you joy. Of course, you do so in Jesus' name

so the past memories are depleted.

If music is present in a location that you are shopping, and it is not bringing nice memories to the

forefront, either leave the premises (I know, seems drastic, but sometimes you need to do so), or block

it out. Best thing to do is just leave until you are healed of a particular memory or file bank not bringing

 you joy.

The empowering part is you can say a cleansing prayer, soak in worship (even in your auto), use the

"R's" which are Repent and Renounce.

Like scrubbing a bathtub with grease and grime stuck for days, you must work at getting all the goop

(negative memories) flushed out.

Be encouraged that spending time in God's Word cleans the files out, boy do we all need that!

You know when you have cleaned a drawer out, you can close it a bit better because you have spent

time working on the drawer, it's easier to open and close. The storage for other items is so much more

accessible which is what you want, not that you are storing anything, but gives you more room for

God's goodness.

For a complete list of "R's" in case you are not aware of them:

  • Recognize (own it, see what's wrong)
  • Responsibility (take care of whatever)
  • Repent (turn from sin whether a decision, negative actions or thoughts)
  • Renounce (get out the Lysol! a.k.a. God's Word, so much more powerful than anything ever)
  • Remove it (James 4:7) Standing on scripture
  • Rejoice in God's Word
  • Restore

Lastly, another very sensitive area is taking authority over trauma! Both, men and women who

have experienced domestic abuse are to bind the enemy, take authority over the enemy, then command

the enemy to leave from you in Jesus' name, amen.  You break all trauma off and speak it, because it is

a spirit. Luke 10:19 says "God gave us all power and authority to trample over serpents and scorpions."

You speak this daily until it is gone. You will know when it is gone. You can feel the difference,

guaranteed. Plead the blood of Jesus over yourself, that's a no-fly zone to the enemy.

Also, remember to speak all this out and "renew your mindset" every day.  As you read the Psalms, they

will help you to cleanse those areas which need a washing by the water (Word of God).

That's all for now. I hope Women Empowerment Solutions has been encouraging for you this post and always.
