What's Inside 30 Calendar Days of October

The calendar is full of hope and promise all the days of our lives!

I call the "square" days marked one, two, three, four, five and so forth remarkable. 

The reason they are off the charts remarkable is because they are filled with hope and opportunities, 

especially when they don't look like it #domesticviolenceawarenessmonth.

It's just like when you are making pancakes, or cookies, maybe a made from scratch cake. The bowl of

 goo is too watery, ever been there? I have, lol.

Then, you know it's time to add more "solid" ingredients like flour to the mixture to thicken the recipe.

What does this have to do with a calendar?

Adding to your day the goodness of God makes all the difference.

You start with a grateful heart in the morning. I know, it might be hard for you to feel "cheeky" in the

 start of your day when life has been challenging for you.

Domestic violence is dirty nasty stuff. It's worse than any stinky diaper you have ever changed.

The good news is, the calendar, the little squares where each number is printed, is beautiful, waiting for

 you to fill it with hope and belief, and thankfulness.

'By now, you are not hearing any curse words from the perpetrator, no more abuse. Yeah, no more

 getting smacked around for making coffee the wrong way or serving dinner at a different time than the

 usual 6 PM.

Life has changed for you in a big way.

You have peace, or are reaching for it, you are about 70 percent there. What a big number! It's over half,

 and I must applaud you.

If you aren't that high on the peace scale, it's okay, you are on the way, and that's what counts.

Seismic changes are happening for you now, you can't believe all the goodness that is happening, wow!

Your checkbook looks different, not overdrawn anymore.

Your housing situation, there's peace between the walls.

I know, you've been speaking to your provision lately and calling it in from the land of Goshen, good

 for you! While you are at it, remember to speak healing and wholeness all in Jesus' name, amen.

For certain, devil has zero ground. We LAUGH at him! Hahahaha

As you dig your heels in, remember to bind all trauma, loose shalom peace in you and your

 environment. There you go, you got it! Yes, do so in Jesus' name, amen.

If you aren't quite there at any of these places I have mentioned, I urge you, to open your Bible, that's

 where meat, dessert, seconds, and thirds are all at (spiritually speaking), and chew on the Word

 (meditate on it every chance you have). See, feel, talk, smell, and walk the difference today. It takes

 baby steps, and you have it all.

There's power in the name of Jesus. He dispels darkness, end of story. Decree and declare it, "you have

 the authority to trample over serpents and scorpions." Luke: 10:19

So, every time you look at your calendar now, think about looking at it in a new way. A way of promise

 and, like I said, opportunities.

There are opportunities in faith, hope, love, perseverance, choices, and the list goes on.
