Attract, Spearhead Support with these Tips

In the last couple of blogs, I have focused on 2 of the three tips for empowering women from domestic violence during the "isolation" period.

Today, we discuss tip 3: Stay in touch with support.

A connection is crucial for you. Making the best of everyone's situation, especially if you are boxed in with an ugly person (character, attitude, abusive, unruly) or not, support is essential.

While working in specific fields, support is needed- here is a list (samples):

  • Doctors and nurses, technicians, and phlebotomist- all need each other/ work together (assistance)
  • Real estate, handyman, broker, bankers, title and escrow-  all need each other & work together
  • Writers, editors, libraries, research, and resources, publishers, Kindle-all need each other & work together
  • Restaurants, cooks, bakers, baristas- all need each other and work together perfectly

You get the idea.

The same is for empowerment from domestic violence for you or someone you know.

Drawing strength from family, friends, divine resources, counselors, and the church is vital.
Find uplifting and encouraging messages that keep you thriving to a whole new level, one you never thought possible.

Staying connected with others, yourself, and God are the staples for your overall mental health.

Here are some supporting scriptures, helping you to stay connected:

Psalm 46:1-3
Proverbs 18:10
Nehemiah 8:10
1 Peter 5:7
Deuteronomy 31:6
2 Corinthians 5:7
Isaiah 41:10
Colossians 4:5
Jeremiah 29:11

Of course, you can use Skype and What'sApp to talk with friends and family. "Hangouts" on Google is another resource for spending time with those you love as well.

Thank goodness there is help in time of need! The beautiful part is we can always depend on these words; they will never fail, not ever. If this is news to you, rest assured, I've been relying on these words for years, and they have empowered me with strength and support…regardless if anyone else is close.
