Capping the Crutch

While the contributions are plentiful (firearms, alcoholism, drugs, stupidity), the list goes on. Why domestic violence is prevalent, Women Empowerment Solutions speaks out and against all of it.

Sure, people have used the mentioned addictions and weapons as a crutch for their madness instead of using self control and working situations out.

Did you know that the national hotline answers 21,000 calls each day? That equates to 15 calls per minute. Those are some busy phones lines.

The state of Delaware alone takes 3,684 calls a year, which is 307 calls a month and 10 calls a day. One call a day is too many.

So, according to research online, 34.9 percent of women (just in Delaware) experience Domestic Violence. That is close to half of the women there. Ridiculous.

I though by looking at Hawaii, with the weather being so nice, it would be much better. Hawaii struggles too just like any part of the nation and abroad.

The more I read and studied, the locations need more funding and stuffing to properly assist these women looking for assistance.

In contrast, the state of Illinois has strong laws veered at keeping the perpetrators on their hot plates and not crossing the river to madness.

I urge you today, where ever you are, make a donation to Women Empowerment Solutions, together, we can make a difference. Domestic Violence isn't going away by itself. Thank you for your contribution and support.
