5 dimes, 2 nickels
I will give you a jar of pickles

7 chickens, three fries,
I will give you clothes which are not my size

4 gallons of milk
night gown of silk
Your dreams are fly
and your new life is a joyful high

The spoon you eat with
the day before July 5th
Independence from domestic abuse
woman, thou art loose!

The picnics in the day
shows you more on the way.
The basket full of goodies,
made from neighbors and friends
snacks and sweet blends.

Freedom in the way you walk
and the way you talk-
body language free
now you truly "see."

So, what's around the corner?
Believe in what you can do
and visualizing brings clue after clue

Sweet days
Hot days
Productive days
Learning different ways
Changed mindset
Think outside the box
Walk in new socks
Hair went from straight to luscious locks
No more tears
No more fears
You are no longer in arears

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there. She divides her time between her own charitable organization and other non-profits in the Tulsa area, especially those serving to empower women from domestic violence in various ways.
