Freedom is more than a 4-lane highway

Freedom,
what it means to so many people, and the cost is so grand.
The price
paid for our freedom is phenomenal.
Our
military works to keep us free (thank you!!). Our parents kept us free from harm as little
children.
Unfortunately,
this isn't the case for everyone as kiddos.
With baggage from years ago, bits and pieces shattered like a window with gale force
winds pop up in
in
adulthood. Nobody would've guessed what they see now from little ___(fill in
the blank).
The noise, the chatter, hurts, pains, traumas, but that's what some endured, even our military regardless
of gender.
What about
Christ? He took stripes for our healing (Isaiah 53:4-5), did you receive it?
It is an
exchange. You give him your brokenness for His wholeness. Receive it and be
thankful for it.
So, as you
become freer from domestic abuse, you see with new senses. A new set of eyes,
ears,
atmospheres
smell different, songs become more relevant, and, at times, more sensitive. You
become
more of
yourself.
Do you
know how to feel when you are free? No burdens, no overwhelming, no care.
Freedom
can be spelled out in Roman 8 where the scripture points out transformation,
because that is
exactly
what happens.
Transformation is when you are changed in a good way (your way of thinking). You go in one way; you
come out another way.
This is an
experience you will never forget. The change is crystal clear.
So, as we
begin to celebrate the 250th anniversary of freedom for our country of the
United States of
American,
we also applaud you with the steps you are taking in your freedom.
We know,
it's been a rough ride for you. But you are firm, strong, courageous, bold,
fearless (or trying
to be),
and passionate about your freedom.
You
deserve it. It is yours and you are claiming it. We are so happy for you.
As you
become freer, know that you are loved and there is support for you everywhere
you go.
