You are an overcomer no matter what anyone else says. Here are tips.

As the writer stared at the blank page one day, so did the woman who is overcoming domestic abuse stare at the situation scratching her head, what to do?

The writer sat quietly thinking. Then, went to books and magazines for sources of reading and input which would inspire plenty of published writing and more.

The woman overcoming domestic abuse, in need of a multitude of answers like direction, revelation, strategies, finances, and blocks to crush what had been plaguing her from blossoming.

The face of adversity likes to get in your face and say, "ha, ha, ha, ha and stick its finger in your face and tell you what you cannot do." Sound familiar?

Instead of this scenario, flip the script and speak to your situation no matter how wild your situation is, because we know every domestic abuse situation is different. No two are alike, no matter what. They might sound slightly the same, but they’re different. 

Different people are involved, the math is not the same, locations are near and far. Some scenes may be connected that are miles apart, yet others are close in proximity. 

The bottom line, flip the script (instead of negative speech say something of hope for example) and see pictures of yourself in your future. This way, you can make a bright future for yourself. It takes doing work as well.

Of course, you will need to pray, think differently than what you’ve been (a big key), and walk it out, the hardest part of all.

So, you do have a dream and hope that one day you will see it come to pass with your work and thinking through. The thinking part needs support- as you learn to trust people again, they will help you through the process. Those people value you and know your worth. They don’t repeat what you say to them and then 10 other people know your business. They look out for you and look out for your best interests.

With two published books so far, I had wonderful helpers get me to the finish line, because the books were intense to write, time consuming, but actions I had to take for results. Results do not happen without action, they just don’t.

The best route for you may not be the same route another woman takes.

Gratefully, there are plenty of resources in Oklahoma and other states.

You also can pray if you believe you receive what you are praying with all your heart. That’s hard for some people because they aren’t that connected in prayer life or just don’t know what to say. I understand. But you can start somewhere.

And, as you give praise to the Lord, and continue this path, you will start to see a shift. It may not happen in a day or two, may not be in a day or a week or a month, or maybe it will! Keep the faith and you’ll see phenomenal ways your life starts getting much better.
