What do you have time for?

Rush, rush, and more rush is what we all do regardless of gender, geographic location (unless it’s island life), or other important elements in our lives, but sometimes, you must slow down.

I remember a time about 20 years ago, it was tax time, and I needed my tax document, for about the 20th time, yes, 20th time, because I was frazzled- I had way too much going on.

Settling down takes time and effort, not getting bogged down with unfruitful parts of life.

So, with empowerment, as you move forward, if someone rushes you, I suggest you do not allow it, even if it is yourself.

Yes, the baby needs to be fed. Make sure to have the bottles ready, diaper bag always ready, even when you have no plans to go anywhere, because it is better to be prepared. For what? Be ready always.

Best rule of thumb, wake up and be ready. Step into your day and make declarations, something great is about to happen to you and for you.

Each day has its own “stuff,” but you have more than that, you have authority over all the “stuff.”

Whether it’s bills that need to be paid, schedules and appointments to keep, commitments, or you are just trying to figure your daily routines, keeping track of it all is important.

You may do well with using a calendar, your phone to keep track, put sticky notes throughout your home, & purse, keeping track will help you stay organized to stay on task. Everyone has their own special method here.

Also, daily doings, yes, the routine, will help you with your timekeeping. Keeping the time is important, respectful, honoring, and is of value. Since none of get any time back, it is very valuable.

I know of people who take planning to the next level where they plan for 6 months to a year ahead of where they are. For the purpose of this post, planning the days, weeks, and maybe for the goals of 6 months, that is a happy place.

Some of you are looking to iron out areas of your lives in a more crucial manner. No more domestic violence, can I get an AMEN!

You step into a new way of life. The way you think, eat, do life, your perspective, and a key component, what you have time for. You have time for what you love.

What do you love? You love yourself. So, it is time to treat yourself well. Take time for yourself.

Of course, if you have small children, you always put them first. You can still square out a few minutes, even if it is 15 minutes a day in the earlier part of the day to read, exercise, do something fun- paint your nails, spruce up your room, organize your closet (is that really fun??), you get the idea.

You can have a fashion show with the clothes in your closet and see what you truly want to keep. As your seasons change, you may not like certain clothes anymore, time to change them out. Other clothes, you may be keeping them a lot longer than you ever thought, if you can still fit in them.

I do encourage to fit time with God's Word. Perhaps you already do, good for you!

The more you read it out loud, the more you will see what you can fit in your time and hear what God has to say in your situation, that is so important.

Some you of you might be going through a custody case and wondering what to do or be on edge. Those are not fun situations to be in, but remember, God is above all situations.

If someone has disappointed you, plead the blood of Jesus over it. Disappointments are no fun, but as you stay in the Word, God will surely direct your path and sooth your wounds. By the end of the week, you can reflect on what you can do better and what you did right in the first place.

Alright dear one, be blessed and empower beyond measure.
