How Smart Food Choices Eradicate Wrong Thinking
Margo was hungry sitting at her desk working through the
morning. She usually started her day on an empty stomach, know anybody who does
that?
What about juice, coffee, or even a fluffy biscuit
filled with tasty jam to get the creative juices flowing and spark ideas?
Food has power and nutrition, making you operate accurately,
as does rest. Without the two, what is a person going to do?
Food has our nation by the pants though. It is easy just to
grab a burger and fries with a thick and creamy milkshake and stop for the day.
This is the type of meal my mom used to congratulate us on with big
achievements. Nothing wrong with that- and we sure loved it when we were kids.
This is not the everyday food you consume if you want wellness with a healthy
heart and lungs, nor is it for top energy chasing all your kids around (or
grandkids).
Having energy day-to-day couples with value and appreciation,
especially while overcoming domestic abuse.
Energy boils down to our mouths and our food, not the number
of potatoes cooked- which all breaks down to sugar from the starch. You have
seen the soupy thick mucky water after cooking the potatoes, not real
attractive.
Groceries are a realization of how you need to move forward.
What you spend time thinking and doing truly revolves around
what you eat.
I know for a time, I enjoyed eating French toast, but
afterwards, I always wanted to take a nap. Ingredients in the French toast
would always make me sleepy, no matter what time I ate the delicious toast- I
stay away from French toast, it is not worth it to me.
Check the ingredients of what you are eating. Ask yourself
if you would be receiving the right nutrition from this food you are interested
in consuming. Is there enough potassium in it (good for your heart), iron,
protein, magnesium, and healthy fats (saturated fats)?
Good rule of thumb, stay away from sugar as it will do you
favors you can rely on. Your blood sugar will thank you as well as your
clothing size and other areas of your life. I know it tastes so good, but
learning and adhering to boundaries will get you everywhere.
If you need something sweet, try honey, it is natural. Coconut
milk is another viable alternative for breakfast foods. Blueberries offer
antioxidants, another sweet choice, or watermelon, an effective way to hydrate
for the upcoming warmer days. Cucumbers are also another way to hydrate and
dress up those salads staying away from the dressings, which are a trick with
most ingredients you desire to omit.
As you let go of "he said this or that" from
domestic abuse cases, and the even tougher one, "he did such and such,
meaning he harmed you physically," are not easy areas to get past. Those
traumatic events need power washing and healing. And, just a note, by
letting go, means not to “think” on. It does not mean you do not share your
testimony, because sharing is a crucial part of your healing.
As you may visualize peeling a carrot, the outer part coming
off, you, too, may visualize your trauma coming off and it pictured on the
cross- not on you in anymore. This is real.
Junk food feeds these areas making the adrenals elevated,
and you do not want that.
You get to a point where you have had enough. That is where
doctor's offices will ask you if you need something to take the
"edge" off. To avoid these situations, eating right detours a good
portion of it.
Eating right- the vegetables, meats, poultry, fruits keep
your mind clean- the natural way. The spiritual way is the input of scriptures
and worship, and tithing. Without these, there really is no out no matter how
hard you look.
Sure, you do not have to believe it if you do not want to,
it is your choice. We all have free will, thank goodness. Believing will help
you over the gap, crossing the bridge.
Thank you so much for your attention and reading my blog to
make a difference in your life, or someone else you care about who is
overcoming domestic abuse.
Domestic abuse is against the law and it is in every state
and abroad, that is why we work as a time to eradicate it.
