Hello Readers, I know it has been a while since I have written anything here, but there is a reason!

We all go through challenges, and I had a few of my own to face and conquer. None of them were easy,

not at all!

I will start off with right before I moved late last summer, the "blog break" was only supposed to last a

month, so I thought!

Then, I have been progressing within areas of my health. Doing so much better though, and there is

 more to go!

This is why you haven't heard from me in a long while on the blogs, or most areas.

One step at a time.

I know how important it is to be encouraged! Gratefully, we have encouragement all around us. It

is imperative we stay focused in the right places, and not fall prey to "shiny objects" which we know

are distractions. Those come in all shapes, sizes, forms, through various people, situations, and

circumstances, so weighing through each part is insightful to say the least.

I won't be real long here, but wanted to talk about steppingstones, since I've mentioned a little bit

about my obstacles and why I needed a break.

As I read different sources and speak with various people, the need for most women is a strong home. It

is not that the wood needs to be thick on the structure, although that is not a bad idea (really depends

on where you live and the weather you have).

Mostly, you want to look at what is inside of your home. Of course, there's much to look at when

renting or purchasing a home of your own, there's a long list!

For your small step, look where you are personally. Assess what needs to be done. Working on

yourself self-care first is where you can start.

I would add, your self-care starts with Christ. If that is not where you are, why not? If you are there,

then, great! You are moving in the right direction. Once you have accomplished this area which may or

may not take some time, this leads to your new living space, the good strong foundation of a home.

Making sure you have employment is imperative so you can pay for your home and any needs you

have. You know there will be quite a few. But it is okay, you can do this. It is a must.

Maybe the way many people think coffee is a must in the morning, or like gas for a car is a must if you

want to drive point a to point z.

Ask the Lord and He will help you.

Tips for looking for your new residence:

*Observe carefully with whom you are working with before you establish residency. Listen to how they

talk, the words they speak, information they share, and especially how helpful and efficient they are.

*Be sure to "cleanse your home" with prayer.

*What do you like best about the home? Can you picture yourself walking the neighborhood and

cooking dinner there?
