Make Your Mark With Your New Home, Picture Forward
Continuing on the theme on "Homes."
Home is everything you would like for it to be & more; relaxing, livable, joyful, beautiful, and
especially, peaceful. Here, you make your mark, and picture it forward.
There are two ways you can "frame" your home; your body is your home, and.....your home is where
you park your car (if you have a car), sleep in your bed and wash your dishes.
For the first type, it takes all kinds of care, just like your home you live in when you sit on the couch
and watch TV or cooking your favorite recipe.
As for your home, it also takes a lot of care regardless if you have just moved in, have lived there for a
while, or you are moving into a new place. Every bit of moving takes work, which is an effort on your
part. Think of your spending or saving practices. How you are moving takes focus, and what you are
focusing on is very important.
Then, you pour all of your energy and hard work into obtaining a place of your own, or maintaining a
home of your own. It sounds like a lot, but is something you can truly obtain with the right
concentration.
A bit of encouragement for you regarding acquiring your own home.
My husband and I recently purchased a home last year. It had been almost 30 years since we had
purchased a home. So, it isn't like we didn't have to work to get there, we did! You can too, and it
doesn't have to take as long, it can be much quicker.
Remember to pull out your pen and paper and write what you would like in a home. How much would
you budget for, and make sure your numbers align with the mortgage company or underwriters. If it
does not, adjustments will obviously need to be met, and that is okay. Anything is possible through
Christ, who can make your prayer request come true.
When you look up Philippians 4:4-8, the words just pop off the page. So much is packed right
here, you can hardly contain yourself! I encourage you to read it over and over out loud. Let your
ears continually hear this message until you believe it. Do this more than one day because that's
what it takes.
In verse 6, it mentions "by prayer and petition with definite request with thanksgiving, continue to make
your wants know to God." This verse is very powerful and impactful, so as you speak out what
your specific and definite request are (envisioning in your mind) what you see, and already giving
thanks, you can be assured of what you are calling in as God does hear you.
This is especially empowering for women who have experienced and overcome domestic abuse.
Women who have been hindered in the past by domestic abuse are rising up to new levels making a
way for themselves with bright futures.
Others, who are in programs at shelters across the United States may spend a little more time working
out their progress to bridge over to where they desire. It takes a lot of courage, boldness, and a new
mindset which only comes from Christ the King.
This particular area of overcoming usually is not done by yourself, but with help. A good support team
is crucial. As you look at your calendar each day of the week, you can mark a specific task in which
you are working to move forward. You can have a goal for each week and month to move the dial into
new living space. Yes, it can be done. It does not matter where you are in life right now, it CAN be
done. Again, I encourage you to meditate on the Word of God and read what He says about you and
your particular situation. "He has a great plan for you" (Jeremiah 29:11).
Do you think that is true that you can move forward into nice living space? God can do anything to
help you. Effort on your part is also required, but you have this! Your power and energy come from
Him. I encourage you to spend some time with the Lord to hear what He has to say. Oh, and don't
try and hear an audible voice, which He can do, but He usually uses other methods.
He speaks through people, radio, TV, impressions, & loves to talk with you when it's very early
in the morning and everything is quiet.
You may know, when all is piped down, and there's no rushed feelings, you can and and see how you,
or someone you know can overcome any odds, I you I believe you can!
A little reminder.....
The focused-thinking may not come in one night, but it will come when you focus on the right picture.
Maybe you see yourself in one position at point A, but you won't stay at point A, you will get to B, C,
and all the way further, as long as you stay focused on the path.
Honestly, the path, if you don't already know, is on Christ. He is the only way.
Scripture mentions in Proverbs 3: 4,5,6,7, & 8, as you recognize Him (Christ) in all your doings,
that's your path. You will do amazingly on the path as you follow Him.
I have more to discuss, but we'll stop here for now and talk more on this next week.
