Refreshment isn't only from lemonade

Sitting in the middle of the dwelling, Janice said to Freda, "I'm ready for a fresh start. What do I need to do to get there?"

Often time we hear this from women from all walks of life. What an intriguing and eye-opening statement filled with wonder and belief.

If someone said that to you today, what would your response be? Most would be ecstatic and want to give you a hug or jump up and down as if they just opened the best Christmas present ever!
Desiring a fresh start is filled with hope and faith. You know the fresh start is there, but where exactly? You don't see it in your living room…or do you? Is it the fresh flowers you placed on the coffee table or, is it the peace that surrounds your home because nobody is yelling and making a fuss?
Hope is that glimmer of light that shines through even when there is garbage lurking on the next block. You know there is something better, and you can see a spec of it. Good news for you. Hope is alive, and it starts with the name of Jesus.

He gives us faith, too. You can find it in the Book of Hebrews (look at Hebrews 11:1) faith beyond your wildest dreams. I know some of us may have some wild macaroni dreams, and others may have thoughts you don't want to discuss. I have had both. Hebrews will urge you to discuss and take a leap of faith (bigger than a frog!).

Faith goes without saying…or in this case, without seeing. You know you want something like freedom (YES!) and an outstanding life filled with joy and possibilities, but where will you find that? First, you need peace- meaning not a lot of ruckus going on. When there's not so much chaos in the mix, you can find liberty bell (so to speak).

You know the song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas?" You can dream something else, too, and believe for it. When you pray, ask for it (doesn't God say come BOLDLY to His throne? Yes...he does), and thank God for it before you have it. Of course, God can't stand domestic violence, He loathes it. He wants to give you the very best, as you are well deserving.
