Speaking up saves lives


This article is empowering as she stands up for herself and others.
It take a lot of courage to go back to that moment in time when there was a violation, then share why there was a violence.

Talking about feelings evokes an emotion. She does an outstanding job speaking to the masses uncovering what should have never happen.

Be blessed in the name of Jesus knowing survivors are coming forward daily, speaking their truths of how they were once offended, assaulted, intruded upon, and abused.

Speaking out is healing and restoring. Again, I wanted to share this story if you haven’t already seen listened/watched.

I believe in the coming days, others, too, will speak out and daily empower women from any type of traumatic experiences, whether sexual assault or abuse.

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there. She also worked in radio in Tulsa and television in Columbus, Georgia. Her professional writing website is: www.eileenseefluth.com.
