Tears...No More

So many women across the nation and abroad see themselves in the mirror, but what do they see?

For some, they see bruises and marks from the night before or a week ago that are still lingering somewhere on their faces.

For others, they carry the burden of shame and they don't know why. They just know that 'he', the perpetrator put that on her like a backpack to carry through the wilderness. She knew she didn't sign up to hike the mountains in Big Bear, California.

All the contents of the backpack, whatever are in there as she's gone into hiding so that he can't find her and beat her up anymore.

Ladies, there is good news!

If you thumb through the pages of the bible and come to Proverbs 31:17, it reads: "A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no many stay him." What a powerful word from The Lord.  Ladies, The Lord has your back, it says so right here in his Word. The last five words of that verse says not to stay with him, so, you are free!

Your liberty is here. It is without guilt, shame, burden, no violence. Isn't that awesome! It's good to know that we serve a merciful God that bottles up all of our tears, it says so in Psalm 56:8 " Though tellest my wanderings: put though my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?" He's hear all your cries and be assured, he knows precisely how many strands of hair you have as well. Now if that doesn't assure you, there is always so much more in God's Word, that you my lady, are Empowered!
