Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Preparation is in everything you do, especially Thanksgiving.

You have seen the long lines at the grocery stores, I am sure. It does not matter what grocer you

go to, they are all full and all working diligently to provide the freshest of ingredients.

Whether you are cooking and baking, or you are a guest with others who are making the delicious

meal, be aware of the what's inside the yummy dishes you are consuming and how the food works

with your body-type.

For those of you making your own pie crusts, here is a fabulous recipe you can be sure

your digestive system with appreciate because it is gluten free.

This recipe is by Carolyn Ketchum, and you will want to take note:

Crushed nuts (you pick which ones you want)

Almond flour

Butter

Monk fruit

Though I do not have measurements, I know you can look at her website: alldayidreamaboutfood.com

and gain them from there. I want to give a shout out to the clinic, Metamorphosis in Tulsa where I

received this fabulous baking recipe and website from that is not only nutritious, but satisfying and

healthy.

Good food matters. Looking over ingredients before you purchase the items is a must so you

know how much sugar, cholesterol, or trans fats are in the items.

This blog is to empower you for your Thanksgiving, so I hope you feel you are empowered.

Also, as we move into the holidays, my book: Justice Doesn't Always Come by

the Gavel has recently been republished; I encourage you to get a copy as you will have more insight

for moving forward and tools you did not realize you already have.

Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving.
