Unwrapping What's Already Within

Christmas comes and goes, and here we are again- thankfully!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I took most of December off for personal, healing, and professional reasons.

Time to focus on the new, for all.

I have "catogrized" some important areas I believe are worth mentioning along with scripture- super important.

Gifts

The year is chalk full of valuable gifts you haven’t seen or heard. Think about what Jeremiah 33:3 says, "call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know and haven't heard." I'd say that is one perfect gift, all we need to do is call upon our Lord and he will show..... what?? Great and mighty things.

Even though Christmas is over, it's up to us to see it in a brand new light.

James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 is a biggy. You should look it up when you get a free minute or right now as you read this blog. These verses are worth your time as are all.

I hope this coming year, you ladies will embrace in your God-given gifts.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 talks about "stirring" up your gifts, and you could do a deep dive there.

What I mean, expolore what you do not know yet. If you have always enjoyed something particular, take a closer look.

Remember, Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ. We have gifts every day and God fills us with gifts beyond our wildest dreams, every day.

Jobs

For some of you, maybe you are thinking job status. Income, benefits, where you can best spend your time for provision. Perhaps you have a job and you do not like it. Pray into your situation and watch God move on your behalf. It's no surprise to Him what you have going on or what you do not have going on. Use your "gifts" on your job. Maybe you already are using your talents, right? If so, how?

 Healing

Some may be in "healing" mode. Is that you? Some recommendations are: Healing Rooms in the Tulsa area. Victory Christian Center has them, give them a call. Women Empowerment Solutions, we will pray for your healing. Harvest Church Broken Arrow (91st & Main) has a "fiery" pray team just waiting for you- service starts at 10:00 a.m. Sunday mornings.

Prayer

In Jesus’ mighty name, we speak healing over insecurities, any self-rejection, unworthiness, any inferiority, healing is yours by the power and blood of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Speaking God’s Word makes me thirsty for more.

Breakthroughs

A portion of you may need a breakthrough from addictions you’ve been dealing with, and want to “kick” the quark to the curb and you wonder how, just how? Speak new words over yourself and give it all to God by putting it on the foot of the cross. Obviously, there is a process- here is some information to help you with that- starting with "programs."

Programs

Washing the “old” off, and you immerse yourself into a program which works for you (it's not overnight from what I've heard). John 3:16 has programs for addictions as well as Celebrate Recovery, which is offered at numerous area churches in the Tulsa and outside the Tulsa area. With CR (Celebrate Recovery), I used it as a "voice" in one of my books, "Justice Doesn't Always Come by the Gavel"
