Every Month is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Hi.

Yes, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

A time to remember how great our God is through all the distractions, perpetrators, abusers, name-callers, and adult bullies.

A time to declare health and healing because it's already been done as per Isaiah 53: 4-5.

Awareness that these men and women who have been abused work in the grocery stores, our schools, department stores, the airlines, daily activities, I could go on.

Everywhere you look, you will find the ratio fulfilled. You will also see Jesus as well. He IS bigger and brighter than abuse whether physical, emotional, religious, you fill in the blank, He is above it all.

We can count on using our authority in life (Ephesians 6:12-24). Binding and loosing, that's what dismantles the enemy crying back to his pit.

Domestic violence affects lives, homes, paychecks, communities, not for a day or two, week or month, year, but longer.

It's disheartening and not hopeful, sobbing, and perplexing, and yes, ouch, it hurts!

Thankfully, Proverbs 4 offers wisdom and instruction. There's strategy here. Strategies we know change. Knowing what to do and when softens the blow and eradicates the enemy changing circumstances.

As you move through the thicket of distractions and hurts, be aware of your weapons of warfare you have at your disposal as mentioned above in Ephesians. This scripture is not only for domestic violence, but they can also be applied to other situations as well.
