Your picnic basket with possibilities



Soups and sandwiches, pie and cake,

Have a picnic at the lake

No leaves to rake

For goodness sake

Be free and relax

It’s like playing jacks

or...jumping in potato sacks

or eating flapjacks....

But feeling the sun rays beam

Nothing too fatty for the inseam

Hear the birds chirp

That’s really living

Life is good

No more mess of being understood

You are you

Woo-hoo!

Your life is renewed

You now have spiritual food

The empty places are filling up

You have strength and wisdom

Charm you have always had

And you are no longer sad

Happy and blessed

It’s been assessed

Keeping smiling

And anytime you need dialing (call)

Eileen Seefluth has a love for writing, which began as a small child. She knew by the time she was 12 she wanted to be a newscaster/reporter. She overcame her own challenge with domestic violence a few years shy of 40. At that point she went back to school and earned her degree in radio and television broadcasting and communications. She has worked as a freelance news editor and writer at channel 8 in Tulsa. She spent four years in Toastmasters, winning a speech contest while there.
